The horses below are being listed courtesy for the owners or other rescues that are helping them find homes, the horses do not
belong to JAN or Gallop Again. We advise anyone that is "giving away" a horse for free to have the new owner sign a contract
that states the previous owner has first rights to the horse if they do not wish to keep it and that they cannot sell it. Be cautious
of "dealers" and "meat buyers" they are out there waiting to get horses for free or cheap to resell.

This horse was found running down st rt 125, after weeks of looking for the owners they were found. They decided they
didn't want him anymore, go figure. Alias is a senior horse, guessed to be in his late teens. he suffers from a club foot which
causes lameness. i was told at one time he was sound enough to ride but who knows. at this point he can not be ridden. on
the bright side he is a pet, very dog like personality. he would make a good addition to a petting zoo, therapy horse or lawn
orniment. he would be a good baby sitter for little ones. he is the low man on the pole here. he is easy to catch and is often in
your way when your in the field. if your interested in a great pal just call 937-379-5016 or email goosey0420@aim.com

I purchased/rescued this horse from a bad situation 8 months ago. he is said to be a 8 year old TB. he is tattooed but no
registration was with him. he is 16 hh or better, i have never measured him. he has great ground manners for grooming and
trimming feet. he dances a little to be tacked. we have taken him on several trail rides this spring. he doesn't spook, he is road
safe and crosses water. you can gallop him through fields and he comes right back down. he would definitely need a
experienced rider for now. the best way to describe riding him is that he is animated and leggy. he has a beautiful extended
trot and a natural head set.
this guy was very poor when we got him and he still needs to continue to gain weight. we have kept his feet trimmed. he has
had his teeth floated and his vaccines are current. he is completely sound and straight legged, no scars. other than the pony
sized bite marks, lol. he is on a daily supplement and 12% sweet feed with 24 hour access to a round bale. he would make an
awesome event horse, dressage or fox hunter. 937-379-5016 or email goosey0420@aim.com

What can I do if I have a horse I can no longer keep?
1. Unless its extremely urgent, please give it some time, the longer you take to find the right home for your horse, the better chances they will keep it.
2. Contact Gallop Again, or someone else who you trust and have them do a "courtesy listing". It will increase the chances of your horse finding a home if you a)have a good picture b) advertise on www.petfinder.com versus a horse for sale website. Watch out for horse dealers looking for "cheap" horses on horse for sale websites! They are out there.
3. Once you have found the right home, we encourage you to have the new owner sign a contract that will give you and/or a rescue that you trust, first rights of ownership of the horse, should the new owner decided they no longer want your horse.
