| We are currently in need of: Foster homes Update 5/20/09 thank you to all the responses! Used/New Tack to auction for fundraising Care kits for rescued horses: grooming boxes we can use on each horse as they arrive. Hay: Timothy/alfalfa mixed. Square bales only please, we cannot accept round bales. Grain: Tiz Wiz, grain for our rescued horses is purchased at Fagalay's in Harrison and Tractor Supply. | Horses in rehabilitation can be one of our greatest expenses in the rescue. Sometimes they not only need rehabilitated (handling, training, riding) they need de-wormings, vaccines, and each horse we have a Coggins test done on. And to add to that, sometimes horses we receive have injuries or conditions that will need addressed. If you are interested in sending us $5, $10, or $15.00 a month for a specific horse please contact us. Daisey Mae is pictured above, next to one of our permanent residents Jerry. |
