Gallop Again is a working horse farm that uses rescue horses and other farm animals to teach
children who participate in our camps or riding lessons a variety of social values and work on
Many children today spend less than an hour outside each day and at least 3x that amount playing
and the good feeling that a physically rewarding day of working and playing outside foster in the
child.
This is a working farm and while we always emphasize fun, we place a priority on safety and, we
want them to see how much work is involved in a hobby farm and taking care of animals. We
strive to teach children a work ethic, patience, character building, teamwork, kindness,
gentleness, love of nature, farm safety and other morals and values that will serve them well in
the future. We welcome everyone with open arms. We specialize in working with children ages
3-12. Although I am not specifically trained to work with special needs children we have been
blessed to work with many and now about 35% of the children who attend our camps or take
riding lessons are diagnosed with emotional or physical needs. It is amazing and humbling to
watch the children and the animals interact and the difference a horse makes. We look forward to
sharing some of these stories with you when you visit our farm.
